Mitchell Delicatessen

This Saturday March 22 Mitchell Delicatessen had it’s grand opening, and I took a little field trip with some friends to grab some lunch and congratulate the owner. Wow it was totally packed. This little place has been a big hit so far. It’s no surprise either, because what they’re doing just makes sense. It’s part deli and sandwich shop, and part local organic market. The local fresh fruit, meat and bread is all top notch quality. Familytree is really proud to call Mitchell Delicatessen a partner, not to mention I like to eat their sandwiches!

If you live in Nashville and haven’t been yet, it definitely needs to be on your radar.

mitchell-sign-large.jpgA big hand needs to be given to Signs Now in Hendersonville, TN for creating this museum quality sign.

Very cool! Did they route this or is it sandblasted? Also, who did the painting and install?

The sign was routed out of sign foam. My dad painted it with Ronan gold and Sign Painer’s One shot. Install was done by Mitchell’s contractor or landlord, not sure exactly on that one.

Turned out great, props to Signs Now for sure! Also, for those interested the link to the Deli’s website is: http://www.mitchelldeli.com (for more info)

Nicely done on all counts! The design is classic, the sign is obviously done by someone who has worked with some of the best (myself, D.A. and Mr. familytree himself), and I’m sure the food is equally as impressive.
