The Familytree website is now officially launched. Of course as with most things this whole concept has not just mysteriously sprung out of the ground. This website and the work you see contained on it, has been the product of hard work over the last few months, but the story goes back much farther than that. Familytree was originally born into the world a little over two years ago as a way to channel the creative power that I knew was in myself and my friends. It was a brand of handmade art products ranging from tshirts, vintage clothing, handbags and accessories. We sold our work online and in a few local boutiques. While it was fun and rewarding, it wasn't enough for me. I am an old school graphic designer at heart. I love the printed page too much. Traditional graphic design is where my loyalties lie. Typography, kerning, pantone colors, CMYK, finessing the subtle curves of a logo, or developing a concept for a killer illustration; these are a few of my favorite things. This is my passion and Familytree has evolved with me to accomodate it.
