The Belafonte Print Featured on Apartment Therapy

One of my favorite things to see is Familytree Design artwork in people's homes. It's even more exciting to me when I see one of our art prints in someone's home featured on one of my favorite blogs.

In this case, the blog is Apartment Therapy and the art print is The Belafonte. The blog post is called "Thomas' Modern Minimalist Home" and is a post in their home tour series. Along with some other really cool prints including an autographed Eryka Badu gig poster, The Belafonte is in owner Thomas Davis' entryway.

Familytree Featured on Apartment Therapy

Recently I had the pleasure of talking to Sarah Rae Smith, a blogger at one my favorite blogs, Apartment Therapy. After featuring some Familytree Design art on the blog, Sarah featured my home office as part of the lifestyle blog's "desktop" series. If you'd like a peek into where I do my work take a look.

Along with focusing on a tour of my office, Sarah asked me about the pros and cons of working for myself at home. Here's an excerpt from her interview:

The freedom of working for yourself is really nice. I really never did well with corporate politics and the structure of decision making within it. The downside for me is lack of people around. I really thrive on the bustle of a busy office.

It was great fun to be interviewed and I hope you enjoy the behind-the-scenes tour.
